CAD DESIGNER (Ward, Brighton, MI)

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well-organized individual for the position of Dental CAD Designer to join our Dental Laboratory located in Brighton, Michigan.
*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continued employment.*

Exclusively focused in cosmetic, implant and digital design for fixed prosthodontics
Responsibilities:
Design dental CAD framework, full contour crowns, bridges, veneers, and diagnostic wax ups
Read, interpret, and design dental restorations to client's specifications by using a dental CAD software program
Digital Model design
Digital printing
Electronic tracking of cases
All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
Proficient in 3Shape and/or Exocad designing software
Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
Ability to meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations
Excellent computer skills, communication and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented to identify sub-standard work and diplomatically communicate for corrections
Ability to read handwritten English ability to read and understand laboratory slips/laboratory terminology
Basic computer skills to effectively communicate through internal software systems and Microsoft Office products.
Able to multitask, attention to detail
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Have a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent required
