SR. DENTAL TECHNICIAN (Ward, Brighton, MI)

We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the position of Sr. Dental Technician to join our company.

*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Responsible for building, contouring, and glazing of high end anterior and posterior restorations including porcelain to metal, Emax, Zirconia and implant restorations

• Ability to read prescriptions or specifications from clients/doctors and examine dental models or impressions to determine the design of the product to be fabricated

• Design digital models for 3D printing production, then post process and articulate printed models

• Acrylic finishing: complete denture/removable partial denture

• Repairs/Relines

• Denture partial and Implant denture set-ups/waxing/finishing and overall knowledge of over-denture and attachments

• Knowledge of working with and processing hybrids. This opportunity will allow you to work with the digital denture process and specialists performing the all-on-4 technique

• Produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality porcelain work for smile design cases

• Provide training to other techs as needed to meet desired standards

• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of previous working experience with all areas of dental lab processes and technology, fixed and removable

• Knowledge of dental materials, terminology, and techniques

• High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards

• Excellent hand/eye coordination

• CDT certification a plus

• Advanced die trimming experience is a plus.

• Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time

• Team player is a must with a willingness to learn new responsibilities

• Ability to stand for extended hours and lift weight up to 20lbs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
