SR. IT SPECIALIST (MicroDental California, Livermore, CA)

We are looking for a determined, high-energy, well-organized individual for the position of Sr. IT Specialist with working experience with several operating systems and software applications to join our talented team on-site in Livermore, California.

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:
Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users
Assist in creating and maintaining departmental procedures, workflows and metrics to optimize departmental efficiency
Provide Active Directory support for users, security and distribution groups
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Help Desk issues relating to MS O365 and dental applications and software systems
Troubleshoot EMC Avamar backup solutions, schedules and data restoration
Work alongside department to identify and implement innovative solutions for customers
All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years’ experience working in an IT or Sr. IT Specialist position required
Clear communicator and presentation abilities to present information clearly, confidently and efficiently
Detail-oriented, organized and thorough while creatively finding solutions to problems and optimizing processes
Ability to work in teams and in a team environment
Ability and willingness to work extended hours or a modified schedule to support planned activities or emergency situations, regular working hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST
Bachelor’s degree in IT/computer science or equivalent working experience
Extensive Knowledge & Work Experience with the following Software Applications and Operating Systems is Required:
PowerShell, VB Script, Perl, Python, Shell scripting, Dell EMC Avamar Backup System, Virtual Environments specifically VMWare
Microsoft Office - 2016, 365, Active Directory
Windows - Domain, DNS, SMTP, Telnet, DHCP, TTP, SSL, and operating systems 11, 2012R2, 2016, 2019
Pay: $42.00 - $44.00 per hour
